Welcome to Barden Residents'
Barden Residents' Association was established in 2015 to promote
and protect the corner of Tonbridge we call home, its
facilities, environment and community.
We hold a series of events, litter picks and competitions throughout the year with the purpose of bringing people together for all of our benefit. Things are a little different at the moment with lockdown putting our meetings on pause but we hope to resume these in the new year.
Barden Residents' Association was established in 2015 to enable residents to work together to improve our area and protect the facilities we do have. Together we have a stronger voice and we hope that working together will bring us closer as a community too. We have regular meetings open to any resident to attend. Membership is £2 per household per year so it is accessible to everyone. We hold annual elections for the committee and we are always looking for more people to take up a role in the association.

VE Day 75th Anniversary in Barden
We may have had to keep our distance from our neighbours but it didn't stop many houses from decorating their gardens to brighten up Barden. We were also incredibly lucky that local musician Tom Carradine (of Carradine's Cockney Singalong) pushed his piano around our streets for hours to entertain us all with a WW2 themed socially-distanced singalong!
