Barden Jumble Trail
Our first Jumble Trail on 29th June was a scorching hot day, but despite the 30 degree heat a good amount of shoppers browsed the 60+ stalls in our front gardens. We planned to repeat this in summer 2020 but due to Covid-19 this has unfortunately been postponed - we do still hope to return in 2021 though.
Have a look through the great photos taken by Tonbridge photographer Simon Partington (huge thanks to him for coming along to document our day).
Our map had more than 60 stalls and many others set up on the day as well.
These colourful maps for our Jumble Trail were delivered by a small army of helpers who leafleted most of the streets in the area. They were also distributed from our community shop Barden Stores.
Many thanks to Tonbridge River Trips who funded the leaflets so that we could run this event at zero cost to residents. It was important to us that this not be a fundraiser but a community event to get us talking to our neighbours.
