The Nelson Arms reopens!

We're delighted that after over a year of being closed our local community pub has finally reopened after being purchased by experienced landlords Matthew Rudd & Emma Cole (who also own The Windmill in Weald). It's been less than a week but it has been a busy one, with many locals sampling their wide range of real ales. They have screened football on their 106" screen and also had live music. The pub will be a wet-led pub (i.e. with their main focus on drinks) but they are introducing a bar menu of staples shortly. A lot of care and attention has gone into the renovation, I particularly like the cosy lounge area at the front with plush carpet, wing-back chairs and William Morris wallpaper.
