Finally we have an idea of what is planned by our council for River Lawn. In addition to demolishing the Teen and Twenty Club they are proposing a new medical centre and also selling off more land to build riverside apartments. We are very concerned about the fate of the mature trees and loss of green recreational space. The development for luxury apartments will do nothing to alleviate the pressure for affordable housing.
